I've arranged for most the bros to come around on the 7th for a meet and greet with my fiancee. One bro will crossing Foveaux Strait. It will be nice to see the sister in laws too. I don't know if any nieces or nephews are coming. I don't know if any of L's will be there either. Wait and see.
I'm doing the Prebyterian's hall for the last time today. K's taking over. I'm finding it a struggle to get there and he's happy for the extra work. He has often helped me so knows the drill.
I've been practicing the Haydn Cello Concerto in D. It's a struggle. But happiness only comes through struggling. I think Haydn wrote it for a virtuous he knew; so he made some of it very tricky. I've listened to it so many times that I can play the melodic parts by ear. Parts like this that are more asymmetric take more pain; but hey, pain is good.
Why the fuck would I ever want to go to Catholic confession? Would Brother Benedict be there to apologise on behalf of all the paedophiles who have worked for that religion?

ReplyDeleteNot that I've embraced any other religions. They are all nonsense but some have more attractive pats to them than others. I still like Christian cathedrals and Gregorian chants though.
