Today Moses reminds us that God has called us to be 'his people'. The fine print just says to follow his commandments. Jesus reminds us to love our enemies.
Our wonderful God lets the sun shine on both believers and non believers. Both his people and those who reject him. Leave behind imperfections and embrace our true selves as God intended us to be. Let us step out of ego's comfort zone and explore the unfamiliar streets of life. Perfection is not a destination but a continuous process.
Tomorrow is the March 1st. Time seems to have gone quickly. But time is really just a name we give to something we don't understand. Space and time are closely related. We tend to describe both by their boundaries. We count the vibrations of a cesium atom or the swing of a pendulum and call that time. But really they are just moments. One in the past and one in the future maybe. In the same way we count inches and call that space. Or we look at a hole in a wall and call that a window. But really the window is that which is not. It is the absence of 'wall'. C S Lewis described evil as the absence of good. Space is not nothing. Space is like a fabric.
It can bend. But we can not talk of space and time separately. That's why Einstein invented the word 'spacetime'. Time is affected by speed and gravity. The faster you travel and the bigger the planet you live on the more time slows down. If you went for a drive around a black hole which has huge gravity you would come home and find a new Prime Minister and Russians all Catholic and peaceful people.
Have fun and be saved.
